Operating IUM

How to Share Content

You can share content at any time without having the IUM connected to the Host or a Client device.
This can be done using 3 methods:

1. Drag and Drop. To add content for sharing using the Drag and Drop method:
In the main window of the Infinite Portal choose the root directory "IUM Drive" or select the virtual folder where you want to add the content. Select the file or folder on your computer that you want to share on the IUM and drag it to the "drop" section of the Infinite Portal. Confirm you want to share the file/folder on the IUM by selecting "OK".

2. Right Clicking. You can share content to the IUM directly from your computer without using the Infinite Portal. To do this:
Select the file or folder you want to share. Right Click it and select "Share on IUM Drive". Confirm you want to add this content by selecting "OK".

All content shared using this method will be added to the root directory of the IUM.

3. Click "Add file/folder". You can also use the "Add file/folder" option in the menu of the Infinite Portal:
In the main window of the Infinite Portal choose the root directory or select the virtual folder where you want to add the content. To share a folder click on the "Add folder" button, select the folder that you want to share and indicate if you want to include sub-folders. Then press "OK". To share a file click on the "Share file" button, select the file you wish to share and select "OK".

Once you’ve done this, you can plug the IUM into any USB equipped device and enjoy sharing the files.
