Does the IUM require any software or firmware updates?

Yes. Infinitec will release both software and firmware updates every few months.

How can I update my IUM’s software and firmware?

The Infinite Portal will regularly check for updates when you’re connected to the internet. However, you can also check for updates manually at any time by using the software’s menu functions. Software and Firmware updates will automatically install themselves whenever they are found.

Is there another way of receiving updates?

Updates can only be done through the internet by using the Infinite Portal.

Can I update the IUM without any internet connection?

The update process itself does not need Internet Access however the updates checking and downloading requires internet access.

How frequently do I need to update my IUM?

It depends on when software and firmware is released by Infinitec. The Infinite Portal will automatically check for updates and notify you if a new software version is found.
