Everything Comes at a Price

As of 2010, an estimated quarter of Earth’s population uses the services of the internet. That’s right, out of around 6.8 billion people, only about 1.9 million people use the internet. To most of us this figure would seem underestimated. Why is that? Because everywhere we turn we see people with either a Blackberry or an iPhone and it goes without saying that they would most likely be subscribed to the Blackberry internet services or an iPhone data plan. People don’t seem to function without the internet anymore. There’s a constant beep or click wherever you go. Take the iPad for instance, the lower specifications model comes with Wi-Fi and the full specifications model comes with 3G. People want the option to stay connected at all times and are willing to pay. For this very reason, the IUM is the world’s first device to have a feature we refer to as Dual Wi-Fi.

Dual Wi-Fi is the ability to connect to two different Wi-Fi networks at the same time. Since the IUM is designed to connect using Wi-Fi, it takes over the Wi-Fi connection of the host computer. Dual Wi-Fi allows the user of the IUM to be able to connect to the host computer as well as the home/office network’s access point simultaneously and routes the internet traffic back to the Host Computer. Without Dual Wi-Fi, the user would be limited to either connect to the IUM or to the internet. As this isn’t something any user would like to choose between, Dual Wi-Fi was developed in order to meet full user requirements.

The internet is a must for most of us and has become the bread and butter for our lives. They say everything comes at a price, but losing your connection to the internet is not the price you have to pay for using the IUM.
