What’s an IUM and why do I need one?

The world’s first Infinite USB Memory Drive (IUM) is the next generation of USB flash drives. It provides you with a more comprehensive, practical and efficient solution of transferring files than traditional USB flash drives.

The IUM does not actually store any content on the drive itself. Instead, it uses your computer’s WiFi signal for connectivity and leverages your computer’s storage capabilities as its own. How can I win an IUM?

Infinitec will run two contests during August 2010. For each contest, one lucky participant will win a free IUM. Anyone can participate to win. All you need is a Twitter or Facebook account.

The first contest will start on Monday the 9th of August 2010 at 9am GMT (1pm Dubai time and 4am EST) and will end on Thursday the 12th of August 2010 at 5pm GMT (9pm Dubai time and 12pm EST).

At the end of the contest all entries will be added to a draw and one lucky winner will be picked out. The winner will be announced on Thursday the 12th of August at 6pm GMT.

How can I participate using Twitter?

You must do two things:

First you must follow Infinitec on twitter: @infinitweet or www.twitter.com/infinitweet.

Once you have done this, you simply have to retweet or post the contest hashtag (#InfinitecIUMrocks ) on your Twitter page and you will be eligible to enter the contest. For every time you retweet or post this hashtag, your name will be entered in the draw once. So if you retweet 10 times, you get 10 chances at winning the IUM.

Ultimately the more times you retweet or post the hashtag, the higher the odds are for you to win the IUM. There is no limit to the number of times you can retweet or post this hashtag.

The hashtag will be posted by Infinitec several times throughout the contest duration in sentences similar to this:

“#InfinitecIUMrocks I want the world’s first Infinite USB Memory Drive. Follow+RT to Win! http://ow.ly/2mB0c“

You can simply retweet the sentence for a chance to win. You can also make your own sentence but make sure you include the hashtag “#InfinitecIUMrocks”.

How can I participate using Facebook?

You can find our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/infinitec. We will be posting updates on it regularly. To enter the contest you have to do two things:

First you have to “like” our Facebook page. Once this is done, you must post the following sentence on your Facebook page or status:

“Technology is Awesome: The world’s first Infinite USB Memory (IUM) Drive by Infinitec. I want one! http://ow.ly/2mB0c”

You can also share our Facebook status or someone else’s as long as the word “Infinitec” appears in the title.

We will track all your posts through the Facebook company page (www.facebook.com/infinitec#!/pages/Infinitec/124852334199643).
Every time you update your status with this sentence or share a link to the Infinitec website you will get one more entry in the draw. So if you do this 10 times, you get 10 chances at winning the IUM.

Ultimately the more times you post about Infinitec, the higher the odds are for you to win the IUM. There is no limit to the number of times you can post or share the link on your profile.
