Just use data from where it is!

Let me introduce myself, I am a French hardware engineer. I grew up, studied, and worked in Paris for different companies always in the new technologies arena. I’ve worked in many interesting projects in the medical, telecommunication and even aviation fields. However, I used to participate only in small parts of the development. Therefore, even if the projects were very interesting, it was difficult to be involved on a global scale when there were so many people working on the same job.

Then I came to Dubai and found Infinitec; It was  the opportunity I was waiting for. This company is completely different from the ones I use to work for. Infinitec totally reflects this city: it creates large advances in its field, looks to the future with innovating ideas and has an incredible amount of entrepreneurial spirit. Like Dubai, the city of tomorrow, with so many amazing projects and investors who believe in them, Infinitec has bet on the development of the next of USB memory stick. I am proud to be part of this adventure with many technical challenges and new aspects of project management.

This could be the end of the continuous race for growing memory storage. I started years ago using the floppy disk to exchange some kilobytes of data with my friends and I have bought so many other memory storage devices like ZIP drives, CDs, DVDs, USB keys and USB drives since then. What’snext ??? What if I just want to transfer data from one point to another? How many CDs or DVDs do I have to burn just to watch a movie on TV or to give it to friends?

The solution proposed by the IUM is simple: stop copying data for single use and instead use it from where it is.
