A New Beginning…
Change. It’s inevitable. Today you could change your entire future in less than a minute. For me it took about a week and I changed my entire outlook on technology as a person.
Technology was never something I would look at since it simply wasn’t something I was interested in. I enjoyed the convenience I got from high-tech equipment but never thought about any of it further than that. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago when things changed for me, when I came across the IUM created by Infinitec. Today, I work for the company in the marketing division. Did I change? Absolutely. The IUM is something I actually really saw a great deal of potential in, especially since it can help make my life easier. On a weekly basis I go through a complex set of challenges that I need to sort through in order to enjoy my free time. The scene is exactly like this:
Gossip girl. Desperate housewives. Friends. One tree hill. That’s how i spend my Friday afternoons on a weekly basis. It’s a routine. A difficult one to do actually. The main reason being that streaming a video from the net takes its sweet time, not to mention that my only option is to see it on the not-so-big laptop screen of mine. Waiting for the season DVD means not being able to gossip about the episodes, a real social downfall i must say.
“When you truly want something, the entire universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”, Paulo Coelho’s word definitely echoed in my head when I found out about the IUM. I’m not someone that ever follows technology trends, hence it was a real miracle for me to come across this when browsing the internet.To be able to stream all my episodes, literally any video content on my big screen TV is to me not just convenient and cool, but also an insight into what the future of technology is going to bring into our lives.
After studying the product more in depth I realized how much the IUM could help people of all ages in giving them utmost convenience in their everyday lives. Being a part of such an innovative company is only something that further seemed like the perfect puzzle piece in my life and hence I began working at Infinitec. Since the IUM product is the first of it’s kind in the entire world, it’s a pleasure to be part of this evolution in the making and I can’t wait for the product to come out.
So today, even though I don’t understand how or why, my life has been affected by technology for the first time. Not only do I actually like the idea of this, I actually look forward to the next few months working in this field.
